Hi girls,
I have a question about your HPT test. I have been taking them since Sunday Iwas 13DPO and they really haven't been getting any darker. Today I'm 16DPO and still light. When did your test start getting darker? I'm so worried that I'm going to miscarry again.

I don't think mine got dark until after 20 something DPO. I am sure that everything is great. Did you try taking a digital?

No I don't have one. I did get my betas done on Monday and it was 53. They told me not to come back until next Monday but I'm going to call today and see if I can come in on Friday. I can't wait until Monday to see if my betas are going up.

I didn't keep taking HPT's because I knew it would only make me worry. I only took 2 HPT's at 10DPO and 11DPO and I haven't taken any since.

I only took them the day I found out I was pregnant. Have not touched one since. I am trying not to freak myself out and just wait for my sono next week.

The faintness of the lines means nothing. I was having faint lines and my levels were 135 and 330'ish. It varies with each person as to how much HCG is in their urine. You could have high HCG levels, but it hasn't had a chance to reach the urine yet.

Now...it's easier said than done, but step away from the HPT's and if you temp, put the termometrea away and try to enjoy your BFP!

I don't even show up on HPTs until AFTER AF is due, so I wouldn't worry about faint lines. I have never in my life gotten a "dark" line (actually, the other day I was tempted to buy one so I could see what it was like to have a dark line come up immediately, now that I'm 22w!)

HPTs don't show "how" pregnant you are, just that you are. And the line varies in intensity from test to test (even the same brand) and from day to day, and woman to woman.

Try not to keep using them sweets. It'll be easier to relax that way.
