Had anyone here had a pap smear and noticed spotting after?

thats very normal, cuz they are bothering your cervix.

Like Melissa said, it's very common. When I had my pap at my 1st prenatal it was very uncomfortable and I really thought I was going to spot. While pg the cervix is very sensitive and has extra blood flow.

Yep, totally normal!! My doctor always warns of spotting when he does something internal, even if it's not an actual pap and he's not going near the cervix.

My dr won't do a pap during a pregnancy unless absolutely neccessary because it causes spotting and worries the mommy to be!
