if you had $500 to put on a horse, in a race, how would you choose the horse you put the money on?

I have never put money on a horse, but pretend I have some money on a horse if i happen to see a horse race on TV lol - I always pick the horses by their name... if it stands out for some reason, such as having a family members name in it, or just having a 'pretty' name... Hehe....

... although if it really came down to it i'd probably put it on the favourite!

I don't know, I'm the type to root for the underdog, so that's probably how I'd pick.

LOL and if you won, you'd probably end up with thousands of dollars!... whereas me with my favourite, I'd end up with maybe 700 back!

I, too, would pick based on the name.....but I would bet on the horse with the silliest or catchiest name. If I had to choose between Ned the horse or Sascha's feast of honey marbles, I'd go with the latter! (can you tell I'm exhausted?)

I'd put my money on the one that does his business right before the race.
