I have been enjoying this website for about a month now and would love to join in. I can't believe how many people are going through the exact same thing I am. I am happily pg again after 1 healthy baby and two miscarriages. My daughter was born May 05 and I had a picture perfect pregnancy with her. I had my miscarriages in June 06 and Nov. 06 both at around 8 weeks. I am now pregnant again 7 weeks and 5 days and a nervous wreck. Just had U/S last week and they said everything looks great. I have my fingers crossed but it is very hard to get my hopes up this time and be excited. I am very happy to find you guys.

Congrats on you pregnancy, and welcome to PAL. It is surprising to see how many of us there are that are going through this! I hope you have an uneventful pregnancy and a beautiful baby in the end!

welcome to the PAL board cyns! Congratulations on your pregnancy, I hope that this pregnancy is very boring & uneventful for you - that's the best sort of pregnancy!

My name is Emma, i'm 23 & am one of the co-hosts of this board. I am not currently pregnant (sighs), however I am the Mummy of an adorable, gorgeous, divine, perfect (i'm not biassed!) almost 5 month old baby girl, named Gaby (Gabrielle Jayda-Lee). I had her on October 26th last year, she was 14 days overdue, and I ended up with a cesarean. But I wouldn't change anything about her birth!

I have had two losses, one in 2001 & one in 2005, we got pregnant 3 cycles post miscarriage, so I was very scared about the prospect of another miscarriage, and the first trimester was particularly hard - but I got there!

Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy. Glad you are here! My loss was at 16 weeks and I am almost 14 now. I know how you feel about being a nervous wreck. This board has been really helpful to me and it is nice to know that there are people you can talk to who know exactly how you feel.

Congrats and Welcome!

Welcome and congrats! It's absolutely normal to be nervous, but that's why we have this board. The support is fantastic. If you'd like additional support for your losses, click on the butterfly blinkie in my siggy to go to the Recurrent Loss board.

Welcome to the group!! I have also had 2 m/c myself. Mine were 10 years apart though. I had my first one 10 years ago then had my son May 2004. I had my last m/c in June 2006 around 8 weeks as well.

Wishing you all the best!
