I finally got to meet my new Dr and I just adore her. She is so nice. She tried to get Babykins heartbeat on doppler for 15 minutes but was unable to because I have a very loud placenta. She said that because of my m/c history and also my mom's m/c history that she would feel better if I had an u/s done. So my mom and I walked over to the tech's room and she took us right away. I had another vaginal done since I didn't have a full bladder. The tech found Babykins hearbeat right away and it was 167 bpm. She said that everything looks great and right on for my dates. I got new pics of Babykins and wow is amazing how much he/she has grown since I saw him/her 4 weeks before that. Babykins looks like a little baby. My mom was so happy that she got to see the u/s being done since she has not seen one in 22 yrs when she was pregnant with my sister. I think that she had more tears in her eyes then I did. I go back in 4 weeks for my next appt and the Dr said that we will try doppler again since I will be 14 weeks then. Also at my next appt we will schedule our BIG U/S too. I also gained 1 lb since my last appt and my total weight gain so far is 7 lbs. So far so good on this end.
Woooohoooo! I am so happy for you that all looked so great with the baby!!!

so glad you go an u/s and everything is fine! I've never had an early scan (well, except when they did a scan to confirm i'd m/c) - but i know i was amazed how much Gaby had grown between the 12 & 19w scans
