Well I think I am going to for sure change OB's. I wasn't going to try for a VBAC but I have changed my mind. I know in my heart I really want to at least try for a vaginal birth. This most likely will be my last baby and I want to know what it feels like to have a baby vaginally.

So I think I found another Ob that takes medicaid and that is open to VBACs! I am hoping to talk to her in the next month and hopefully change after my u/s so probably in May.

I hope everything works out the way you want it to. I've seen plenty of stories about successful VBAC's, so it will be good if you can see a doc who's supportive of trying.

There's a girl in my DDC who just did precisely the same thing. She had a c/s with her twins, and then a successful VBAC with her daughter. But then she moved and the OB she had doesn't do VBACs (which is silly to me! Dumb doctors!). So, 3 months before delivery she changed OBs to one that is open to them. She doesn't like the Dr. as much, but she's decided she's not okay with automatically doing another c/s because she's already had one.

So I hope that it works out for you!! You should be able to get the birth you want, especially since they've gotten better at doing c/s so that they don't do as much damage.

Thanks ladies. I talked to this other lady that is using the OB that I think I will change too and she had nothing but good things to say about her. So tomorrow I am calling medicaid to see if I can change. Oh and this OB does a u/s at every visit!!! Wooohooo!!
