I wasn't here very long last time but hope you will have me back!

I got my postive hpt in early Feb. You may remember I had spotting, bleeding and was told by my OB that the pg was not viable and I would be m/c (for the second time). She gave me the choice of sidatec, a d&c or just to wait it out!

Well I didn't like the idea of being completely put under for the d&c so I said no to that. I felt the sidatec would be a quick way to get the whole thing over with and move on, but kept chickening out on "making myself start to bleed" (I guess it's not naturaly to WANT to make yourself bleed). So I chickened out and kept chickening out. The doctors office called once a week to find out where I was, did I take the medication, I really needed to do it, it wasn't good for things to "stay inside of me this long".

Well, the longer it got the more scared I was that something was not going right and the sidatec would make things worse.

I finally took the vaginal ob orders (that I was supposed to do after the m/c) and took them to the hospital where they did an u/s.

I was laying there, certain it would be cancer, a large peice of unpassed tissue, disease, virus, something. After all I've had this dang stomach flu for 3 weeks!!!

Well, the tech says....there's a lot of movement. What, movement, is that normal, does cancer move? Wait arms, legs a heartbeat.

"Are you telling me I'm pregnant?"

So unbelievably I am STILL pg....10 weeks 5 days to be exact! What an absolute miracle this litte bean is!! God must have a special plan for this one because all of the odds were against what is happening now!!

So, I'd like to come back if you'll have me. I need something to ground me and really make it real! Yesterday I was coming to terms with my family just how it is, boxing up the baby toys and cradle from the m/c and ready to give it all away!

Things change quickly in a day!!

I posted in your thread in TTC After Loss, but I wanted to add an extra congrats here.

I'm so amazed by your little baby! And I am really glad you listened to your heart and didn't take the medication.

Welcome back!

Thanks everybody. I kind of came to terms with this whole thing again looking at Gaby's little picture. It hit me....I'll be taking photos like that again!!!

Anyhow, I have now gone from fearing the bleeding after going to the bathroom, to having it, to wishing it would come and get over with, to fearing it again!!!!

Man, I'm so confused....but good confused. I'd rather be here than elsewhere!!!

That is truly a miracle! Somehow, part of you knew the baby was alive, and that's why you didn't follow doctor's orders. I have tears in my eyes!!
