Hey ladies,

I am "semi-vacationing" in Albuquerque and I am wondering for those of you who are late in your 1st tri or early 2nd tri where did you get your dopplers?

I went to babies r us and found a heart beat monitor but it said you could hear your babies sounds in the 3rd trimester. What do I use to hear the heartbeat now? I am 11 wks. 3 days!

Thanks, I'll check later this afternoon to see if any of you have any ideas!!

I believe most people get them online - either purchase or hire..

I found these sites for you:
http://www.heartbeatsathome.com/dopplers.cfm
http://www.dynamicdoppler.com/Produc.../mainIndex.asp
http://www.storkradio.com/dopplers-digital.php
http://www.zetek.net/doppler.htm
http://www.tummytickles.com/pregnancy_doppler.html
http://www.bellybeats.com/
http://www.babybeat.com/fetal-dopplers.html

.... aww this looking at dopplers is reminding me of this time last year when i was nice & pregnant, and waiting to hear Gabs h/b for the first time

*cries*

Thanks so much! I did find that heartbeatsathome website last night and I think I might rent one from there since this will def. be my last pg!!

But I am worried about making myself crazy trying to find the heartbeat everyday!! OH what to do!! I don't need to be more neurotic than I already am!! Any thoughts anybody???

I rented mine from Bellybeats and I really love having it. The great thing is every week it seems a little easier to find the hb. It was only very early on that I seem to have more trouble.

maybe see if your ob can show you how to use it properly at your next appointment??? Or make a pact with yourself, not to try to find the h/b until you're in the 2nd tri? I really fought with whether or not to get one, and ended up not getting it because i knew it would stress me out if i couldn't find the h/b.... but now i wish i had

I ordered mine through babybeats.com and could not recommend it highly enough. It has been the only thing that has kept me sane this pregnancy. Good luck! :-)

That is exactly how I feel!! I am worried that I will drive myself crazy if I don't find the heartbeat one time. I am still considering it.
