Well today I went in for my first appt. They did an internal exam- just for cultures since I already did my pap in December. Also took 8 vials of blood because now they are interested in what caused my previous miscarriages. I told the nurse I was worried about the subchorionic hemerrage that I had last time. She said they don't do ultrasounds till later on and since I have had no spotting or bleeding there is no need BUT she would do one just for fun. Now this nurse is hardly an ultrasound tech. She can't do vaginal ultrasounds so if we couldn't see anything with the pelvic I was out of luck. Well we did see the bean. Couldn't see the hearbeat or anything but it does exist! She says that it looks like the right size. Of course not seeing the hb makes me nervous cause what if I couldn't see it because it wasn't there. Oh geez another thing to worry about.
So I should get my blood results back in a few days. Now when I first found out I was pg I went straight in and my hcg levels were doubling and progesterone was fine so heres to hoping I get good news again.
Thank you Jaidynsmum for my beautiful signature!
Hope your blood test results come back just as they should be. I agree with the others that you could not see the heartbeat because you were doing a pelvic u/s. I know it is so hard not to worry - but hopefully everything is just fine!!
