Ok.. so I went in to the imaging center where my mom works and the tech told me the baby had a heartbeat.. It was 111. She said I was measuring about 6 week 4 days. She also said I has a sub-centimeter subchorioc (sp) bleed above my uterus. She called it an implantation bleed. The only you can do is watch and see if it grows! WHAT DO I DO?

exactly that..if you have any spotting or anything call your dr. right away. they will probably monitor it with ultrasounds every few weeks or so..a tech "suggested" that an earlier u/s i had might have showed one..they explained it as if it were a bruise that took place during implantation..the more the baby grows and the hematoma stays small, the better. YOu want the baby to be bigger than it. Are you gonna let your dr. know about it? I think you should. I had an ultrasound 2 weeks later and mine was gone. Good luck!

Thanks.. I put a call in. I am on progesterone because my level was a 12 and my hcg was 20,000. We saw a heartbeat today which is good news, but I am terrified. I lost a baby in infancy and then miscarried in March. Could this be blood left over from my D&E?

Your welcome..im not sure about the left over bleeding though, i had 2 natural miscarriages..ask the dr. when they call back. What i always find useful is to write down a bunch of questions to ask because there was always a few i forget to ask about and id be kicking myself over it. good luck and congrats on the heartbeat!!

Sorry to hear about the worrisome news!!! My sister had a hematoma with her dd, and it caused a lot of bleeding but was no danger to the pg.

With this pg I had a hematoma which caused bleeding that scared me to death, but everything turned out well.

From what I understand 90% of these take care of themselves on thier own!!! Try to take it easy and not worry yourself too badly....although I know how impossible that is!!! I'm sure all will be well! sounds like you have a good support team around you!!!
