lol why is he so hairy?[/b]
Well all babies tend to have hair...especially on thier backs after birth. In the womb they are covered with fine hair...which I believe helps protect thier skin.
Anyhow....since he was 5 weeks early he didn't have much time to lose that hair which happens in the last few weeks of pg.
He looks like a hairy monster, but in real life the hair is fine and blonde and you can't really see it. Most of it is gone now that he is a month old...but it is one of those things that I really wanted to get a pic of because I just love the way it looks. It is so silky smooth and really reminds me of how little he is!
Awesome pictures! DH bought me a really good digital camera for my birthday back in May. It's the last model Canon makes before their digital SLR model (SLR is just a bit too intimidating for me). Anyhow, I hope I'm able to take as good a pictures as you have! Things like that take natural talent though- and you've got it!
Emily....I don't know if it was completely this or not....but......
I was talking to the photographer who did my maternity shots and I told her that I loved the hair that newborns have on their backs. With my other three I tried and tried to get a good photograph of it and was never successful. She told me the trick was to put the baby in "harsh/direct" sunlight. I mean....it was just direct sunlight in my bedroom, but it worked and I was happy with the way the pics came out. So you may try that little tip!!!
Natural sunlight makes any picture turn out better!
