Hi, I am new to the board. My name is Lara, and I have had 3 mc's and am now pregnant again. I have a question that I hope someone will be able to answer.

I had my first beta Friday 09/16 that was 126, and my second beta Monday 09/19 which was 400. Is this a good number? I think I am like 2 or 3 days late for my period and I usually have a 28 day cycle. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Lara

Welcome, Lara! I think that given that you're still so early on in the pregnancy, that those numbers look pretty good. Normally they like to see the numbers doubling every 48 hours, but of everything i've read, it's not unusual for some people to take 72 -96 hours to double and everything is still fine and they have healthy pregnancies. Good luck, and please keep us posted

Oh GL #'s look good Dr's like to see the numbers incease by at least 60% every 48 hrs. yours did.

info.... plus did you all know if your dehydrated it can make your Hcg lower or lower progesterone can make the numbers lower-I just lived 9 weeks of the beta He*l.
