My church threw a baby shower for me and another girl at the same time last Saturday. It was really nice. We didn't play any games or anything, but there were finger foods, little cheesecakes, and lots of presents! A few ladies even brought presents for my older daughter. I thought that was so nice. I mostly got diapers, clothes, and bath stuff. My mom also got me an infant car seat with a matching diaper bag. Here is a link to the one she got me: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=2662634 I love the little cover thing that goes over the baby's bottom half since she will be born in December or January. Here is the link to a few pictures from the shower: http://www.justmommies.com/boards/index.ph...80&start=80 Mine is the very last post.

I also had my ultrasound today to see if my placenta had moved up so as to avoid a c-section. It HAS moved up! The tech said it was no where near my cervix which is great news. The baby weighed around 3 lbs. 13 ounces and was in the 37th percentile overall. That is WEIRD for me! I thought she was a lot bigger than she actually is. They tried to do some 3d, but there just wasn't enough fluid and too much baby to get a good shot. We did get a pretty good look at her face in 2d, though. She has my daughter's and husband's nose and my cheeks. BOTH techs commented on her chubby cheeks. They are so cute! At the very end of the ultrasound, she stuck out her tongue and yawned.

I don't have a danged scanner. I would love to share, but to tell the truth, the only two pics we got weren't very good. You can only see half of her face---the other half is shadowed out and she's pretty smushed against my uterus. I was kind of disappointed because we didn't get any good ones at my first ultrasound either. Oh well. I guess we'll get to see her in real life pretty soon!

I really hope your placenta moves up too. Mine moved WAY up so it's completely possible. I'll start praying for you. I had lots of people praying about mine.
