this just can NOT happen.....I am freaking OUT Right Now

this afternoon, Mick and I messed around a little...we left the house and ran some errands, about an hour ago we got back & I just felt wet....no cramps or anything.....I had a pantyliner on thank goodness...it was not bright red, more brown than anything & only a small amount of brown when I wiped....no red blood in the toilet at all....I just do not know what to think....
I feel fine....could it be from messing around earlier or could this be the start of another loss?????

I have heard about women bleeding after messing around so I really think it is normal. What did your dr tell you to do if you started bleeding?

I am praying that everything is ok...I am in tears right now as I am typing....
it did look like "old" blood though...so I guess that is good...it was NOT red.

don't panic! this happened to me with Delaney. i would bleed any time we messed around, it was from irritating the cervix. the first time it happened i was in a total panic, but today she is a happy, healthy 8 year old. put your feet up, and try to relax as much as you can. i know, easier said than done, right? sending you lots of prayers and positive vibes!

I was so hoping that this wasn't you posting this! It could very well be from messing around, that is normal, especially if it is old blood. I will be praying for you and your little one.

julia,

thank you......I know its sounds terrible to say, but knowing it happened to someone else makes me feel a little better...at least I know it DOES happen....

I just did a bathrom check again....1 of probably 1000 to come tonight.....no bleeding, just the tiniest, smallest bit of brown on the TP....nothing on the pad...

That sounds good. I think it's really good that it is not red and that it is going away. It must just be from your cervix right? God Dee now you got me all upset! Go check again!

I'll bet it's from what you think it was from too. I remember that Astrid had some spotting off and on in the beginning of her pregnancy and look at her now! Try not to panic and call your doctor in the morning or talk to your doctor's nurse if it will reassure you. I hope it is gone by the morning. Keep us updated, okay?

I think it was from fooling around as well. If it was red blood, then I would be extremely concerned.I know how you feel though.I bled alot after my 2nd cervical check, bright red blood, and I was HYSTERICAL.But, it was just because my cervix was irritated.I think thats what happened to you!My doc warned me to be really careful when fooling around or having sex. Some women are more sensitive than others. I wuld just call in the morning to be reassured and hold of on the fooling around til then!Keep us updated Dee!

Dee, I really think it's from fooling around. I have bled with all of my pregnancies, which after losses is disconcerting to say the least. Sometimes it's been from fooling around, sometimes it's been due to a placenta previa, sometimes it's just from a straight up irritated cervix. Even knowing all of that my breath still catches in my throat anytime i think I may see a hint of blood. I'm sending you hugs and prayers that everything is just dandy.

whew - I'm glad everything is looking better. I know what a scare it is to see blood at any time (I checked that TP up until the very end), but I'm sure it was just from fooling around. Take care!

Dee, I had to get through the whole thread to find out how you were doing today & was worried sick the whole time! Sounds like messing around was the culprit in your situation. I also had some spotting at right around 8 wks & someone brought up the fact that it would have been around the time I would have had a visit from AF. I don't know if that was the reason but it made me feel a bit better. I'm glad it seems to have gone away! WAAHOO!
