I'm sorry ladies I am just so afraid of something happening to take away my baby before I get to hold him/her so in order to ease my fears I am delivering in a hospital with my OB. I am hoping next time to maybe deliver at home or in a hot tub thingy. That looks really comfortable. Anyone ever delivered any way other then hospital? Just wondering what it was like.

Hospital here too, although I plan on staying at home for as long as possible this time. I wish they had birthing tubs at our hospital. I don't know if I would deliver in one, but it seems like it would be nice to lay in one when you're in labor. I was in hard labor last time for 14 hours before I got to a 4 and they would let me have an epidural. I NEVER expected to be in such pain for so long. I delivered her 1 1/2 hours later. I REALLY think the epi helped me to relax and my body dilated so much faster that way. I'm really hoping my next labor will be substantially quicker!
