it went well! he never did the progesterone test when he ordered the blood test, so i have no idea what it is. but he wants me on the suppositories anyways because of my past results and the fact that i had needed clomid before. not really looking forward to that and i'm not too thrilled about taking it without knowing if i really need it or not. i have to go back in a week to see the midwife. i'm not sure why because i have never had to do that before lol.... they said something about a physical..... and i have to have my bloodwork done and schedule my first u/s for a week or two. but as of today, everything looks good!

glad it went well!!!! I remember the first 2 or 3 appointments were a bit boring, but after that it's nice, being able to listen to babys heartbeat etc..

uneventful is usually good! My progesterone was 38 at my first blood draw and i still got on the suppositories just to be safe, with my history and all. I didn't have any side effects from it really, besides it may have increased the pregnancy symptoms i was already experiencing and they were a bit messy. Just make sure you lay down for a good hour after putting them in.

I can't wait for your first ultrasound!!

Julia, that is great news! The suppositories aren't that bad just make sure to wear a panty liner in case it leaks out. Either put it in before bed or at least 30 minutes before you get out of bed in the morning. I'm so over the moon that you are preggers!

Julia- I did cautionary suppositories too and I've never had low progesterone before. This time it was good too but RE didn't want to take any chances so I did them. It wasn't too bad. I survived. I was suppose to take them until 12 weeks but actually stopped them around 10 1/2 because my morning sickness was so bad and the progesterone was making it worse. So although I didn't quite make it the entire 12 weeks the time I did use them were good, as baby stayed with me. Whether it was the suppositores or not who knows but I'd rather not have found out yk? Can't wait to hear about your ultrasound!!!
