Hey Ladies. I am new to this board and I hope to be here for awhile. I would just like to say that I am 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I have had 2 miscarriages. One October 2006 and it was said to be a blighted ovum. The 2nd was July 2007 and it was considered a missed miscarriage. I am pregnant with my 3rd baby hoping that this one is a sticky! I want a baby so bad and I'm sure God has in store for me to be a mother. Monday, November 26th is my first drs appointment and he is going to give me an ultrasound. They said thats the first thing that needs to be done with this pregnancy. Please pray for me and I will update yall ladies as soon as I know something.

Congratulations on finding out you're expecting! I understand your apprehension about miscarrying again - I miscarried my first pregnancy on July 6, 2007 @ 6 weeks. We were so excited, then so disappointed. However, I got my next period Aug 4th and got pregnant that month. Everything is going smoothly so far - we had our first ultrasound on Halloween and got to see the baby moving around and everything! I am still so worried that something will happen..its a shame how miscarriages can damper our happiness at times.

I wish you the best though and I am sure everything will be fine for you and the little peanut! I am glad you found us!

Congrats!!
I know exactly how you feel, I had the same thing with my first with a blighted ovum. I never even heard of it, let alone think it could happen to me! So, I am feeling the same way you do, with this pregnancy. Good luck at your appointment tomorrow, I have one as well.
