I was so lost until I opened up your post, Emma! I think we call it fruit cake in the US.....and NO! I don't like it at all. Yucky! I have a kind of funny story about that. My husband's grandma (who is a pretty feisty old lady) made a bunch of fruit cake cookies a couple of years ago. She literally asked every single person who came in the door if they wanted one when we were all coming to visit her on Christmas day and I never heard one person say that they wanted one. If she was a nice lady, I would have felt bad for her, but it was actually rather comical.
