The only name I want is Angelo after my grandfather that passed away but DH HATES that name as he used to work with a guy that picked on him with that name so we are currently fighting over it. I hope we are having a girl so we don't have to argue anymore!

I really like the idea of naming children after someone - specifically I like the middle name to be a tribute...

Gaby's full name is Gabrielle Jayda-Lee... The Gabrielle isn't after anyone (lol I like Gaby from Desperate Housewives), but the Jayda is after my first angel (Jayden), and the Lee is part of her Dad's name.. Gaby has my surname so I wanted something of Stu in there somewhere....

If i have a boy in the future, chances are middle names will be James, Scott or Warrington
If i have a girl in the future, chances are middle names will be May, Eleanor, Isobel or Victoria

... they are all family members names or middle names...

Nope. I just love Arabella and Faith is because Tyrael's middle name is Grace and we just went along with that theme. If the baby would have been a boy, his name would have been Rook Wesley. Wesley is actually my husband's middle name too, although he goes by Wes. He NEVER goes by his first name.

Eleanor, eh? Fine choice!

We are currently having a problem with Eleanor's name actually. I decided on Frances on the middle name to win over DH as Frances is his mother's name. Problem is, his family isn't big AT ALL on the naming after people thing. Not that they don't like it, they just don't do it or care. In fact, his mother doesn't seem interested at all that we gave her name as the middle name. On the other hand, my family is HUGE on it. I am the only one of my siblings NOT named after someone and most of my cousins are named after family. First and middle names.

I can tell that my mother is a little miffed that we used MIL's name rather than someone from our family. For many reasons that DH and I can (now) agree on, we kind of feel like jerks about it. Thing is, it was MY idea. I wasn't trying to be mean, just trying to get my way on the first name. Eleanor Frances just kind of fit together well. Sigh. Too late now. Birth certificate is done.

Cora was named after DH's great-grandmother. And Erin is sort of named after DH. His middle name is Aaron.

Mikaela isnt named after anyone, even though my dad likes to think she is named after him (Michael). Carter's middle name James is after Casey's dad who died when he was 4 or 5...Keaton's middle name of Nicholas is kinda after my mom Niki. Carli's middle name is after my mom's mom, her middle nam was Mae too..which she hated!! *LOL* Mackenzie isnt really being named after anyone per-se, but I have quite a few people that think using Grace is somewhat in rememberance of Carli.
