I went to both the perinatal assessment center and my OB today. Baby A weighs 5 lbs 2 oz and Baby B weights 5 lbs (as a reminder I'm 35 weeks today). So both babies are growing really well. The amniotic fluid looked good around both babies. Baby A turned again so he's back to head down and Baby B is laying across my stomach again slightly head down. My Group B strep test came back negative so that was good. I have 1 more appointment w/ my OB next week and that's it.

So if the boys continue to cooperate, I will deliver Dec. 20. We probably won't know if it's c-section or induction until the day of. I'm scheduled for both. Thus far, everything seems to be going as planned.

Not sure how much I'll be able to post in the next 2 weeks or so, but good luck to all of you as we all move forward in our journeys. Happy Holidays! And I'll post when I can.

What a great Christmas present indeed! I hope you will post some pictures of your little cuties for us. We understand that you are getting ready and won't be around too much. Just get everything ready and worry about yourself. We will all be here waiting for the good news. Good luck!

Two little early Christmas babies! That is wonderful!!! I know you will be running around trying to get things ready for your boys but try and take some time to relax before they get here. It is going to be a while before you get a good nights sleep again.

Also if you do need a c-section No worries! I had one with DD and it was not as bad as I have heard. Sure you are sore for a little while but I never had to feel one sigle contraction. I think it was a good trade.

GOOD LUCK! And I can't wait to see the pics of the little babies...

Thanks for the encouraging words. I'm excited but really scared too. Christmas will definately be interesting this year especially. My poor husband will have 3 b-days and Christmas w/in 2 weeks every year for the rest of his life:-) (My b-day is Jan. 2, so we'll have the boys b-day, christmas, then my b-day....how fun!!!)

As soon as we get settled and I figure out how to post pictures, I'll get back on to post the pics of the boys. Until then I'll be doing a lot of sleeping and eating:-) Trying to get the boys a little bit bigger before they are born. 5 lbs is good and one of my goals, but if I can get them to about 6 lbs, I'll feel that much better.

Until then.....good luck to those who are just starting the journey!!!
