Remember when I posted worried that my progesterones are low - because when I m/c they were 2.2?

Thursday Nov. 29 - 9.9

Monday Dec. 3 (4 days later) - 17.2
Hcg was 104.4

Did another one yesterday and nothing is back yet - still waiting.

Unless anything changes, Dr. didnt think he should put me on progesterone supplements since it is rising on it's own (should be between 11-47 first trimester as he said).

Wednesday my levels were (Compare with my levels 48 hours before on Monday)

HCG - 257 (More than double what I had 48 hours before) [From 104.4 48 hours before]
Progesterone - 12.1 IT DROPPED!! [From 17.2 48 hours before]

What Dr. Said that the fact that my hcg's doubled and went a little over is a sign that this is a viable pregnancy and all we need to take care of is my progesterone. He prescribed Progesterone 200 mg caps and I took my first doze.

Thanks ladies for your input. It really helps me when I am talking with the doc.

I take progesterone pills for the first 12 weeks for every pregnancy as my levels dont seem to stabilize on their own. they have been wonderful for me, allowing me to carry three babies to term and keeping this 4th one tucked safely inside. I'm glad you were able to catch this on your blood work and hopefully the pills will be as successful for you as they are for me. If you find you are not absorbing then enough orally they can prescribe suppositories which work better for some women. Your HCG numbers are very encouraging!
