so a few days ago I freaked out and started moving furniture. I didn't feel badly afterwards just a bit tired and winded. Well, yesterday our 120lb dog suddenly got very sick. He was burning a high fever and very lethargic so I rushed him to the vet. He couldnt even lift himself into van.. so I had to. Then I had to stand at the vet for 30 minutes with a baby on one hip, the dog lead wrap tightly around my wrist using all my muscles to control him while they examined and gave him shots (he was fah-reaking out!) all while managing to keep an eye on my other 2 kids.. it was INSANE. Then when we left I had to lift all 120.6lbs of him BACK INTO the car. I am very very very sore today and I am praying it's just from dog lifting... someone i know just found out she lost her baby yesterday and she was only 3 or 4 days behind me so the timing of this is truly terrifying... please just be sore muscles!!

I am sure it is just sore muscles. Make sure you get lots of rest today and don't do any lifting. How is your dog doing?

He has a very bad bacterial infection on his skin. He had a wound on his tail we were treating and then out of the blue within about an hour he went from running around to completely out of it. Today he's pretty lethargic still. He pee peed in the house which is something he NEVER does, but he was too out of it to bark and let me know he needed to go out , poor guy. They gave him an antibiotic shot and he has a month worth of antibiotic pills to take b/c the infection is so pervasive in his body. We also have to bath him with this medicated shampoo a couple times a week until his skin stop flaring.

You poor girl! You be sure to take it easy today (as much as you can with 3 kids and a sick dog, anyways! )

Wow I hope he is feeling better soon. It's so hard to see them sick.

thanks ladies. I think I'm sore from a combination of things. Apparently I was getting sick and am now down with a full blown case of the yuckies AND all the dog lifting I did. I'm planning on trying to sleep in tomorrow

well I am even more crampy today. Nursing is giving me contractions. I may have to speed up the weaning process which is already not going so great :/

today he took formula before his morning nap. We've been trying to get him to drink a few ounces o formula before he nurses. It seems to help cut down on how long he NEEDS to nurse but he just WANTS too. He woke up 3 times last night to nurse. I feel badly forcing him to give it up

I'm much less crampy today. Hopefully the cramping will stay away now.
