Are you currently having/did you have regular HCG levels done during the 1st trimester?

I didn't have any done with my first three pregnancys (2 losses, 1 live birth), however I did with my most recent pregnancy, due to a suspected (and then confirmed) ectopic pregnancy. My next pregnancy I imagine I'll have regular HCG testing done & an early u/s...

Nope. I had never even heard of HCG testing when I was pregnant with Tyrael. With the baby I lost, I don't know that I had even heard of it unitl after I lost him and joined the PL board. I didn't get it done with this pregnancy because I didn't think it was necessary and my doctor never said a word about it....not that he really could have. I didn't get in to see the doctor until I was 11 weeks along.

I did with this pg just to make sure they were doubling properly.

I had one done with my first loss in the hospital and while I was lossing the baby I was reading 10 weeks pg (I lost Hannah at 9 weeks) so when they wanted to do them during my second loss I refused. I figured there was no point.

I had two done to make sure my numbers were doubling, at 14 and 16 days past the transfer (we did IVF).
