Please make time stop flying! Geez! Trust me ladies, you will have your babiues in your arms faster than you know. Then once they get here, they seem to change over night. Here is Austin on his birthday:
And here he is yesterday morning!
And lookie what I got for Christmas!!
She is a Min Pin/ Doxie mix.I've wanted a dog for a long time, but he always said no!He went to the shelter with his buddy to pick out a puppy for his little girl, and he couldn't pass her up. (She has cataract in one eye, thats why they look funny.)They were going to put her down in 2 days, so I guess he got there just in time!We got so lucky with her. She was found with a collar and name tag, so she just wasn't a stray, but she has all her shots, is fixed, housebroken, and does tricks! He took a few hours off yesterday morning, and brought her in while Austin and I were still sleeping. I woke up to her jumping on the bed!I took her to the vet that afternoon, and she had fun playing with the kids and the other dogs that were there. She already is in love with Austin, and is very gentle with him. He just loves to stare at her, it's the first time he's ever seen an animal! She's so loving and sweet!Best present EVER!!
Oh shucks!Austin is starting to become quite the little man. We went to Dh's C 4-5 Battery Christmas party, and everyone just had a cow over him. I nearly had to rip him out of the commander's arms so we could home! Thanks for all your compliments!
As for my new doggie, her name is Bella. She had a name tag on when she was found, but no address or phone number. Around here, people have to move around to different bases alll the time, so they can't stay around to look for their dog if they run away. It happens a lot.She has become my little hamster.Instead of eating treats, she hides them around the house, and eats them later! She will also bring you the leash from the doorknob when she wants to go out! It's sad she got lkost, it appears that a family really loved her, and worked hard to train her.But she has been the sweetest thing ever!
