I have a pain on my lower left side... I didn't have pain with my ectopic, so I don't even have that to go by. I am trying not to be paranoid & imagine the worst (ie that it's another ectopic), but that's really hard! It's not a 'stabbing' pain.. it's just... a pain... worse if I contract all my muscles down there (like pretending to go #2.. lol)... I THINK it may be wind, but I don't know. I'm so freakin paranoid

I rang my midwife & she said that it's probably 'nothing', but that if i am really worried, or it gets worse, to go into the hospital & see if they'll do a scan. I want to do that.. but I think it's too early for a scan, because i'm only 5w1d.... and it's probalby just going to add to my fear if it's REALLY too early to see anything.

Blah, i don't know what to do. If it was on my right side it'd be fine, because i don't have a fallopian tube on that side

My best friend didnt know she had a tubal pregnancy, she knew she was pregnant, until she had a gush of blood. I would say for you to calm down its probably nothing. I know what its like to be worrying about it. I had 2 stillbirths and im afraid of another. When my friend went in for her tubal, she thought she miscarried. they did a u/s and found out nope it was a tubal. so she was in surgery the next day. If i were you i would go to the hospital and put ur nerves to rest. Tell them that your having pain. mabey its something else. Mabey your further along then u think? im not sure. only a doctor will tell...

Good luck I hope all goes well

Relax my dear. I know it is hard to do, but I have read that pain on the sides can be perfectly normal. I actually just read a post on the September DDC page about the girls having pain on right and lefts sides then waving to the middle. Try to take it easy tonight and the rest of the weekend. Let us know how everything turns out.

thanks ladies... i rang the hospital and they told me to go and get more bloods done tomorrow, because hcg is one of the best ways to identify an ectopic.. and so far my levels are doing what they should be... my pain isn't getting worse, so for now i'm just trying to ignore it....
