I think that nowadays you have to kind of take it with a grain of salt, ya know?Like with plastic bottles... that whole thing drives me nuts!My little brother was fed on nothing but plastic bottles, and he turned out fine.I just think you have to do as much research on what you think is safe. Obviously, there are some recalls and there are some obvious things you shouldn't give your kids. Its just ridiculous these days.

LOL! My DH is going nuts with all these things. He has INSISTED on all glass bottles. While I want to protect my baby I have to stop and think - we all grew up with these things and we are fine so it can't be too bad.

I think if we did everything 'right' it'd cost us all thousands of dollars a month.. sadly... I like to try & do the enviornmentally friendly thing... but as a single Mum - I just can't afford to!

I'm making my own baby food too Dee, We as adults already have so much crap in our foods it's disgusting, buying processed baby food makes me nervous. This way, we actually KNOW whats in the food!!It cool that you are using the glass bottles, it just drove me nuts that as soon as that whole deal with plastic bottles came out, everyone started tossing everything plastic they owned. You would've thought the plastic had trace amounts of the plague! I got a lot of crap for not switching, lol.

It makes me nervous too ! Especially the stuff in plastic!! I have ALWAYS been weird about plastic, this is nothing new! LOL

I figure I have no bottles at all, so it wont be a waste buying the glass ones of the BPA free ones! I wont have to toss anything that I already have ! LOL....
the glass ones are really inexpensive too....I was surprised!
they are on the Babies R Us website...I think Evenflo makes them.
