On 1/31/12 at exactly 16 weeks pregnant Noah came too soon.
If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3
On August 2, 2012 we lost Sarah at 17 weeks. Her pictures can be viewed at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sarahdarrohn
There is no known explanation for my losses.

OMG... I have googled SIDS all day today for no reason... It is a horrible addiction and I even said I was going to ban myself from the computer today! WHY DO WE DO THIS TO OURSELVES!

I know what you mean...when we had Carli's diagnosis I made my dr repeat what it was again so i could research it....he said he knew i was gonna go google it..and that dr google was not your friend...but i will tell you that i am really glad i did my research. my maternal fetal specialist said as long as it ends in .gov, .edu, stuff like that and not .com, it more than likely is reliable....

Paige, have you looked into buying a SIDS monitor? you can get them for 100$ and it sets an alarm if the baby does not breathe for 20 seconds.

I am borrowing a friends' this weekend. I thought I had come to terms with my fear, but I haven't and a girl posted in my DDC about losing a baby to SIDS and I lost all the inner strength I thought I had built up.

I mean NONE of us are guaranteed the next day, but as a mom, I want to PROTECT,PROTECT, PROTECT. Especially since I lost my first son at 5 weeks (not to SIDS), and Max has just reached the 5 week mark. I am a on pins and needles.

I agree, its definately a good idea to get one! I know I am going to be getting one before this baby is born. as much prevention and peace of mind is good!

I right there with you girls!! Once we lost Annika I was looking up anything and everything to find out more of the syndrome she had...It only made things worse. You end up reading about more and more problems that could happen. I do my best now to just ask the DR and only google if I'm desperate!!
