We haven't done that either Jen. We only let her in the kitchen in her walker so far. I'm not sure that will change very soon. I'm going to have to figure out an alternate location to feed the pets first. Katie thinks pet food is super puffs.

I need to get rid of lots, infant carseat, some carriers, bath seat, clothes. I don't know what we need next, besides some new toys maybe. She seems bored with so many of hers. Actually what she plays with most lately is the play kitchen so I will probably get her some new food stuff for it or something. I am ready to buy DOLLS! LOL!

I have TONS to get rid of - too much to list. And, it's all being stored in my basement right now.

We need new baby gates - one that blocks access to the kitchen and the other that blocks access to the hallway. Then, he's stuck in the living room and dining room.

The next thing we need to get is more baby gates. I'd like to get him some sort of ride on toy too but I might save that for his 1st birthday.

We really need to get rid of the swing-to-highchair. That has not been used for months!

We just got the super-big gate for the living room/dining room opening and a changing table (after 8 months, I'm not sure why we bothered, but I just painted the dining room and wanted to reclaim the table). Next up will likely be a new toy of some sort.

We aren't getting rid of much of anything yet - we'll hold on to almost everything until we decide we're done with babies.

We are holding onto mostly everything too until we are sure that we are done with babies. The swing/highchair thing just never worked out for us so I'd rather get rid of it that let it take up space until possible baby #2 comes along and hates it too.

My two oldest hated their swing. But Jace loved it. Of course we cheaped out on this one and borrowed it. It never had the power we needed so wish I would have bought a nice new one. I'd vote for keeping any big gear if you plan on having another. No sense in re-buying.

As for us ~ we have two bouncers that gotta go, the swing needs to be returned. I have a ton of formula we are not going to use. Some clothing to pass on. We need a big gate for the kitchen/living room and we will need a bigger carseat eventually. He is only like 15 pounds max so we have some time in the infant seat. (ours goes til 35 pds)

I am not getting rid of any baby stuff since we are TTC #3!

I will need to get Aiden some new toys, but other than that the next baby purchase will probably be an Ergo or Beco baby carrier. It can/will be used for Aiden and baby #3.

I know!! We are pretty excited, too! We won't need much for baby #3. I will get a Graco Nauti car seat for Aiden and reuse his MyRide for the new baby. Then we will need a new crib, mattress, swing and clothes. Oh and the biggest thing we will need is to MOVE! Yeah, we want to get into this awesome apt complex. a 1243sq ft 4bd 1.5 bath townhouse apt for $516 a month WITH water!!

Four Bedroom Townhouse

That's exciting!!

We're also holding onto everything because we plan on having more babies. However, I have moved a LOT of stuff into storage. The next thing to go will be the jumper. We need to get cabinet locks too, and probably one or 2 more baby gates.

so far I threw out the baby bath and one of the bouncer seats... it was over 9 yrs old! It's the first think I thrown out since it's the first time I won't be saving for any more babies... I hope for an oops :shh: but I dh is too careful so I don't see it happening ever.

so next to get rid of is the bassinett (that he hadn't used in months and barely used anyway).

we use the swing and other bouncer seat occasionally, I'll keep it just a little longer.

we will use the infant seat for as long as I can manage to lift out his seat...he's over 20lbs.. But just yesterday the snap and go style stroller strap broke that holds the car seat in, so I need just a new clasp for it.

next to do... check the expiration date on the convertible car seats. We don't need anything except maybe a new car seat if it's expired (>6yrs old)..I already threw out a couple last year, so I'm not even sure what I have left.

We need a convertible car seat for Nate's car, outlet covers, bigger clothes (again), some bigger boy toys, and changing table. Nothing to get ride of, as baby bee will need most of it in a few months time. I have moved a few things downstairs for now like the playmat.

I was thinking about getting him something like this for his birthday. It says 3 plus, but I don't know what he could do to hurt himself with it??

I need to get rid of ALOT --- clothing, swing, bouncer, jumper, playmat, baby tub... etc... etc...

Next purchase - fall/winter clothing and any cool toys I see. I'm still thinking the "big" 1st birthday gift.

Next we will be purchasing a full size highchair. We have a mini one from before we moved and had limited space but now that he is eating more real food at mealtime, he needs a real size chair instead of sitting on the table or counter.

We aren't getting rid of anything yet because we are going to start TTC within the next 3-4 months. We do need to pack up the swing though. I would love to put the bouncy seat up but I still strap Kiefer into it to give him his breathing treatments.
