Okay to help rack up some posts and give me some ideas...what are your favorite cake or cupcake flavors? Have you ever had one that was just out of this world somewhere? If so what was it like? I am working on new, fun, less boring ideas!  Lately my biggest sellers are key lime or lemon ice box cupcakes, smores and red velvet, and strawberry with cream cheese. Yum!

I just got a request for mint chocolate chip for next weekend! I am thinking mint buttercream and maybe a mint filling in a chocolate cupcake? Maybe an andes mint stuck in each one? Yes?

I have been toying with that idea!! I read you can take quart or half pint canning jars, cut cupcakes in layers and layer with icing, toppings, then freeze the jars and then ship UPS two day or USPS priority!!
Wanna be my guinea pig lol? I was thinking of getting some people to test them out for me and just pay shipping!

what about chocolate covered cherry. chocolate cupcake, cherry icing, and in the center hde a chocolate covered cherry. maybe some chocolate shavings ontop MMM

Yum! I am writing down ideas! (in between baking - got tons of orders this weekend!)
Once I slow down a bit I definitely want to try out the shipping thing so I will let you know!! Be thinking of what you'd like - and we will have to take into consideration I am sure cream cheese, etc. wouldn't ship as well..

Jen I usually charge around $1 each. So about $12 I have an order for 100 for a Dr. office open house next weekend!
Going to look at that recipe now - that sounds AMAZING!

Someone asked me to incorporate banana pudding, so I am thinking banana cake, vanilla pudding filling, cool whip on top with vanilla wafer crumbs and a banana slice......
