Oh my gosh, Jojo's been CLIMBING on things!!! She has pulled herself up on our bookcase, feet on the bottom shelf, and hanging onto the third shelf up *with her teeth*!!! Then after that, she pulled herself up onto a diaper box we had sitting next to a big Rubbermaid tub. Good lord, this child is going to give me a heart attack sometime soon!

Also, she stood for about 6-7 seconds by herself last night. It's only a matter of time now...

That's awesome! It's always crazy when they start doing things like that... it's like out of the blue one day you turn around and are like "how did you get up there?!?" I have been painting the ceilings in the house and I have to make sure I keep any eye on the step stool because Mason loves climbing to the top (three steps).

Good luck! They are hard to keep up with at this age. Kiefer is all over everything...yesterday he got himself stuck in the bottom part of our kitchen chairs, just trying to crawl through it instead of around lol. He has also recently figured out that if he sticks his butt out behind him until it touches the wall or furniture, he can cheat at standing up without holding on to something lol.

I was talking with one of my old co-workers yesterday and told her the bookcase story. She literally said to me "well did you get a picture?!" I was like, umm, no, I was more worried about the fact that my child doesn't have her feet on the ground and has a bookshelf in her mouth! Duh! (hindsight though, I totally wish I would have had the camera out )

my little guy is a climber... all the way up the stairs now without help... I found him up there a few weeks ago, so now the playpen has been in front of the staircase for almost a month!

he climbs thru the bottom of the kitchen chairs, over stools, etc... cruising everywhere!!

I know they are so fast, too!
Yesterday Sulli figured out a new trick. She can climb ONTO the top of the dining room table. She climbs onto a shelf below the table, then onto a chair and finally the table top. Our dining room is now surrounded by gates!
