Yes, we're so busy until the New Year.
We're grilling out with family for Labor Day.
Isabella starts her THIRD YEAR in ballet/tap (Mondays), girl scouts (haven't been told the day yet), and soccer (Friday practices and Saturday games). She's only in half-day Kindergarten so I feel comfortable having her in 3 activities (and the soccer is only for 7 weeks).
Isabella is having a Fancy Nancy birthday party on the 10th. The girls are coming in their "most exquisite ensembles". We'll read a Fancy Nancy book. The girls will decorate their own tiaras and then head over to the "Oh La La Boutique" (name of Nancy's boutique in the books) to make their outfits fancier with tutus, boas, and jewelry and put on play make-up and such. Then, we'll have a Fashion Show. And then, it's time for a Tea Party at the "King's Crown" (name of restaurant in the Fancy Nancy books)! I'm making little sandwiches, chocolate-covered PB cookies (with tiaras and fairy wands on them), and mini cupcakes! I'm making a big Tiara cake for Isabella to have a cake with candles to blow out and it will be served for the adults (as the girls are having mini cupcakes and cookies). I am UBER EXCITED about it! I'm making all the food and some of the decorations and favors so it's going to be super cool but not too expensive at all.
We'll also head to a hands-on Zoo this month (the elder kids have field trips to the regular, big Zoo).
We're also going on a road trip for a long weekend to Kansas City - staying at Great Wolf Lodge so the kids can swim in the Fall and also checking out a HUGE Renaissance Festival.
