I maintained a journal through my 2nd cycle of TTC and it kept me sane and helped to pass the time, so here it goes again. I've been recording all of my symptoms on FF- but, I've reached the last day of my cycle and it feels like it is time to move on; after all, I am indeed expecting!

I'm up early with my youngest (15 month old son) and I need to get showered and dressed to go and get my 3rd round of Betas done at the blood-lab. The OBs office has asked me to do them every 48 hours until my ultrasound which is scheduled for this Thursday (3/18/10). My first read was this past Tuesday (3/9) and it was 67 and my 2nd was on Thursday (3/11) and it was 213...more than doubled!! Good signs all around. Of course I am still secretly hoping for twins being that the numbers are high for dpo and are more than doubling....I guess we'll see on Thursday.

Major symptom as of the last 24 hours is that my legs are so crampy...which freaks me out because a) I've never had this symptom before with any of my previous 5 PG and b) it is the symptom I usually get just before AF- but, I looked it up and apparently it is a very normal early PG symptom! Who knew?

Can't wait for my labs to come in this afternoon- of course I will update!

So very happy to be having another baby!

3/13/10 3rd Beta: 524 (15dpo)
3/15/10 4th Beta: 1152 (17dpo)

I am so excited for my first u/s tomorrow morning! I can't wait to see that little sac and confirm that this is not an ectopic- more over I am secretly (or, should I say not so secretly) hoping for 2 little ones tomorrow!

What is most important is to have a happy and healthy baby, I'm sure everything will be fine.

Symptoms in the last couple of days: Cramping, tired, bloated, weight gain (not happy about that one, I usually lose weight in the first trimester) water retention, swollen feet (right this moment) & just not feeling well.

Til Tomorrow,
El

Well, only one baby- but, surprisingly I am very content with that. Seeing are little "sac" made me feel so happy and overjoyed at the possibilities that await our family, DH was so happy too! Our u/s tech was super sweet and she was not confident that we could rule out twins- she wants to wait for our next u/s- but, I'm thinking if we saw 1 sac it is 1 special little baby- when we conceived twins before it was from 2 eggs not an identical split.

Symptoms of late:
1) Tender / Tingly BBs
2) Morning sickness especially at night (no throwing up though)
3) headache / dizziness
4) aversions to certain foods
5) occasional mild cramps
6) Tired - fall asleep watching tv early at night

Feeling really excited about this new baby- also, feeling really blessed to have such a beautiful family and wonderful DH.
