I want to use this journal to simply document the office visits and big pregnancy milestones of our Bunny's journey.

Today is April 15th, my first visit with my OB. I am 8w1d. I weighed in @ 126 lbs. which puts me up 1 lb. for the pregnancy.

I was given an internal; fun stuff.

I casually asked for an u/s, thinking I would be turned down, and he said "sure". LOL! I have it scheduled for Monday, April 19th. I will update with the results then. Hopefully, everything will be where it should.

My next OB appointment is May 13th, I will be 12w1d.

Oh, other happy news, I think I may have found Bunny's heartbeat with my doppler for the past 3 days, it was in the 130's, near my pubic bone on the far left side. If it really is him/her, I'm a little surprised I found it this early.

I wasn't sure if I had been hearing Bunny's heartbeat but now I'm pretty certain. Today I was able to find it and it's in the 150's now. I read somewhere the heart rate should increase 3 beat per day, so that sounds about right! It also moved a little, it's near the middle rather than the left. It's cute to think about my Bunny moving around in there already.



I have an u/s Monday. I am excited to see my little one!

I wanted to document more about Bunny's heartbeat. Today I was able to find it right away, usually it takes me 5-10 minutes. Bunny was in approximately the same place as yesterday and the heart rate was up to 170 bpm! He or she must have been pretty active in there compared to yesterday!

I can also hear lots of swooshing and whooshing sounds of my placenta (I'm guessing that's what it is) too!

Today was my transvaginal u/s! I had to get it done at radiology instead of in the office because the u/s tech was on vacation this week; go figure.

The tech at radiology couldn't tell me much, I guess it's against the rules, but she did turn the monitor towards me for about 30 sec. I was able to see the heart flickering and she told me I measured exactly on target @ 8w5d.

I saw Bunny move a little too, it was so precious. I am in love already.

I didn't get any pictures, which I'm a little bummed about it. But at least I know Bunny is doing okay!

I rescheduled my 12 week appointment to today.

I weighed 128 lbs. which is +3 for the pregnancy so far, not too bad I guess.

They said my b/p and urine sample were perfect.

Saw the O.B, he said my uterus is just beginning to bulge out of my pelvis and then he proceeded to find the h/b with doppler. He only tried for less than a minute before he said "let's go cheat" and he took me into the U/S room for a sneak peak at Bunny! I was so excited. Bunny appeared on the screen right away, moving all round, and with a beautiful heartbeat in the 170's. It was striking to see how much he has grown in just a few short weeks, he/she looked SO big compared to my 8 weeks u/s.

I finished off the day with labwork. Ouch.

All in all, a great appointment! Next appointment is June 9th, I will be 16 weeks.

I just returned home from my 16 week appointment; everything went well!

Blood pressure was 100/58.

Weight was 130 lbs, for a net total of 5 lbs. this pregnancy.

Easily found Bunny's heartbeat, it was in the 160's.

All my bloodwork from my last appointment came back perfectly.

I couldn't have asked for a better appointment!

My 20 week appointment is scheduled for July 12th, and I will also have the routine u/s as well. And I'm still firmly on Team Green!

I wanted to document that I am feeling Bunny more often now, and he or she is getting much stronger. Last week, it was strong enough to wake me up in the middle of the night!

Also, every morning when I wake up, there is a large hard lump in my belly, which looks to be Bunny curled up, near my belly button, to the left.

Today was my 20 week appointment, though more like 21 weeks, just 2 days shy.

Blood pressure was 102/62.

Weight was 133 lbs---For a net total of 8 lbs. this pregnancy.

Bunny's heartbeat was beating beautiful @ 144 bpm.

The AFP testing came back normal---yay!

We also had the routine u/s today!

Bunny weighed in @ 14 oz.

All measurements were right on target.

The gender is still a surprise, we didn't get a single peek!

The only downside was we weren't able to get any facial or profile shots, as his or her face was down by my cervix with it's face towards my back.

My next appointment is August 9th, I will be 24 weeks.

I wanted to document that this morning, @ 21w3d, I felt Bunny hiccups for the first time. It was adorable. I am in love.

I had an appointment today @ 24w5d.

Blood pressure was 100/60.

Weight was 134 lbs---For a net total of 9 lbs. this pregnancy.

Bunny's heart rate sounding wonderful the doctor said---I didn't get an exact heartrate.

My belly measured right on target @ 25 weeks.

Urine looked good.

So, all is going well! I have my glucose test in 3 weeks @ 28 weeks.

Also, this Friday we go for a 3D u/s to see Bunny. I hope we are able to get some good keepsake pictures.

Friday, August 13th, we went to a local 3D imaging studio and were able to get many keepsake pictures of our Bunny! At first, he or she was nestled into my placenta, but eventually with a few tricks from the very experienced (and patient) technician, Bunny moved into a better position.

The surprise: I was expecting to see skelator baby.....but no, this little one already has a nice set of chubby cheeks @ just 25 weeks! Bunny's profile looks much like my daughter and my son's did, so it's difficult for me to form any real gender guess based on the face alone. I go back and forth on whether it's a girl or a boy, which as a team greener, that's exactly where I want to be!

Today was my 28 week appointment and I also had the glucose screening.

Blood pressure was 100/62.

Weight was 137 lbs---For a net total of 12 lbs. this pregnancy.

Bunny's heartrate was 152 bpm.

Belly measured perfect for 28 weeks.

Urine was fine.

I should know whether I failed or passed the GTT over the next few days. The drink didn't make me as queasy or light-headed this time around--that was a nice surprise.

Next appointment is 3 weeks from today, on September 21st.

I had my 31 week appointment today---since things are going very smoothly, they are seeing me every 3 weeks as opposed to every 2 weeks.

Blood pressure was 112/60.

Weight is 140 lbs---For a net total of 15 lbs. this pregnancy.

I don't know Bunny's heartrate---just that it sounded "excellent".

Belly measured perfect.

Urine showed some white blood cells, but since I'm not having any symptoms of a UTI, he said it was fine?

I passed the glucose screening---my number was 112.

I asked about Bunny's position---The doctor said it felt as though Bunny's bottom was in my upper right abdomen, and it's head was down low, slightly to the left. So really, almost the same position he or she was in at my last u/s.

My next appointment is October 12th---I will be 34 weeks.

Today was my 34 week appointment. The only surprise was my weight gain was more than I expected (6 lbs. in 3 weeks) but I'm still within a healthy range.

Blood pressure was 90/50

Weight is 146 lbs---For a net total of 21 lbs. this pregnancy.

Bunny's heart rate was 138 bpm.

Belly measured 32 wks---doctor didn't seem at all concerned about it measuring a little behind.

Urine was good--- no white blood cells this time.

Received the flu shot---arm is a little sore.

My next appointment is on October 26th, I will be 36 weeks; hard to believe I am getting so close!

I was supposed to have my 36 week appointment today but had to reschedule due to our insurance not being able to get verified at registration (my husband just changed jobs).

So, now I wait until next Monday, November 1st, when hopefully things will be resolved.


Some incredibly exciting news though, is just within the last hour, as I was reclining back in my office chair, I experienced the miracle of being able to feel Bunny practice breathing in-utero! I never experienced this with my other two pregancies, but I am 100% certain this was what I was feeling and seeing!

I had my (almost) 37 week appointment yesterday.

Blood pressure was a up a little more than it has been, but is still within a healthy range: 110/72

Weight is 149 lbs --- For a net total of 24 lbs. this pregnancy; hopefully I won't gain more than a few lbs. the rest of the way.

Bunny's heart rate was good---didn't get a number.

Belly measured "perfect" said my doctor.

Urine was good.

Had the GBS test; can you say awkward?

The best news of the day was that Bunny is HEAD DOWN! I was totally surprised, I was almost certain Bunny was breech. The doctor did say the baby wasn't enganged yet and was floating pretty high, so it could *turn* breech or tranverse still at this point. Stay put Bunny, please.

I begin to go weekly now from here on out. My next appointment is November 9th.

Today was my 38 week appointment; very uneventful, no cervical check.

Blood pressure was 102/62

Weight is 149 lbs---For a net total of 24 lbs. this pregnancy.

Bunny's heart rate was 150 bpm.

Belly measured perfect.

Urine was good.

Bunny still appears to be head down; crossing fingers he or she stays that way!

I inquired about how much he thought the baby weighed and he guessed that if I make it to my duedate it will be 7 1/2 - 8 lbs.....so pretty much the size of my other two children at birth.

I am getting beyond excited for delivery day now, and to find out what you are my little Bunny.

Next appointment is November 16th, I will be 39 weeks.

I had my 39 week appointment today; really in the homestretch now!

Blood pressure was 92/58

Weight is 149 lbs---For a net total of 24 lbs. this pregnancy (no change in the past 2 weeks).

Bunny's heart rate was 141 bpm.

Belly meaured perfect.

Urine looked good.

The cervical check revealed I am 1 cm dilated. My OB brought up the topic of induction, and I declined, I want to give more time for Bunny to come on his or her own.

My 40 week appointment is next Tuesday, November 23rd. I anticipate making that one, but hopefully not the next one. I am getting sooooooo excited for labor to begin!!

Just as I predicted, I did indeed make it to my 40 week appointment today.

Blood pressure was 92/56.

Weight was 151 lbs---For a net total of 26 lbs. this pregnancy.

Bunny's heart rate was "good"---didn't get the bpm.

Belly measured "good".

Urine was "good".

Everything was "good".

I did have another cervical check today, and I did make some progress over the last week. I am now 2 cm, however, he said I was still pretty "thick", and the baby was not yet engaged, he specifically said "the head is still bouncing around".

My membranes were stripped; it didn't hurt too bad.

I'm hoping not to make it to next week, I am more than ready to hold my sweet Bunny in my arms!
