Okay, well I guess I'll do a journal too, although I don't know that my journey is all that exciting yet. Maybe it'll get that way just so I'll have good material for the journal.

I'm Stephenie Allyn McDaniel. I'm 23 years old, 5 months older than DH, Andrew Stuart McDaniel. We met on February 21, 2004. Our first date was on February 27, 2004 and I knew he was the man I was going to marry. Even at 17, I was 100% sure. I went to Texas Tech University and graduated with a degree in Anthropology/Sociology. He went to Tech for a while, but then started working full time and is now going to school to get his EMT certification, so he can eventually become a paramedic, so he can eventually get into the fire academy.

DH proposed on our fourth anniversary February 27, 2008 and we got married on May 22, 2009. I went off the pill in November and we started TTC in December. AF showed on January 6, painful and full of vengeance... Then I didn't have a period until March 1. I really though that I was pregnant, but it turns out I just didn't ovulate. The March 1 period was RIGHT ON TIME! I just think that's noteworthy because I've NEVER completely missed a period and started the next one right on time. Maybe it's just a big deal to me, I don't know. Anyway, we have been using OPKs but I'm on CD 19 and I don't show that I've ovulated yet. Actually on CD 16 I just stopped testing cause I thought it was a waste of time, and I decided that that extra 3 minutes of sleep in the morning was worth it. I'm on the fence about just giving up the OPKs and maybe charting or just not worrying about it because I think I may be psyching myself out.

I would also like to note that I'm an eternal optimist and can find an excuse for almost everything regarding my AF (haha) and I will still be testing on March 28 to see if I might possibly get a BFP. (Hey, it can't hurt. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.)

Anyway, that was probably too long and boring or laughable. Feel free to laugh at me at any point in time. I laugh at myself ALL the time. Life is to short and you never get out alive so you might as well laugh when you can!

Today has been good, but I feel weird now. Beware this might be TMI...sorry! I've had headaches all day. I had dizzy spells on Thursday. Tonight I've been crampy. It's about a week too soon for AF which I don't think I'm going to start anyway because to my knowledge I didn't ovulate. I hate being up in the air. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised, but I don't think I'll be devastated if I get a BFN since I've learned more about myself and I'm kind of expecting it. Oh yeah the TMI part. I almost forgot. My nipples are HUGE... and a bit sensitive but not unbearably so. It's just weird. Maybe I'm tired and over thinking things. Well I'll try to go to bed. G'night!

hey Steph - where do you feel the cramps? Maybe they're ovulation pains! The sensitive nipples are also suspect because that's what mine were like at ovulation. Literally, they would start hurting the day before/day of ovulation, like clockwork! Good luck sweetie here's some O dust!!

Do you chart? That would be a sure way to know if you ovulated!

Judy - The cramping was around my ovaries. It's gone now it seems like. Maybe it was! Good thing we DTD yesterday morning!! Haha! The nipple tenderness is still there though. Oh I hope I hope I hope!!!

Sarie - No I was using OPKs this month and I got discouraged and stopped. I was going to chart next month, but maybe I won't have to worry about it. *Crosses fingers!!!*

Yay it sound slike ovulation pain!! Whenever I had that, DH would say "it's probably just gas" but I think that's ovulation pain
And then after O I would have nipple tenderness for at least a few days sometimes up to a week!

Well, the nips still hurt. And I'm super tired, but that could be because of anything. I think my body is just faking me out. Wish that I'd just make up my mind, haha. Guess we'll see.
