One of my friends told me about this site where you pay a monthly fee and you can have toys sent to you. What appeals to me is that I've been dreading becoming the house that doesnt just have a few kid toys hanging about... but a TON of them all over the flippin' place.

Have any of you heard about Toygaroo?

Here is the site that takes you to the price plan

Our Plans | Toygaroo

for example, the middle package for a little over $30 a month gets you 6 toys you can hang onto for two months then you just swap. I actually have one of the toys available and if you estimate low for $20.00 a toy... that would be $120 worth of toys...

I might do it... what do y'all think?

It's a cool idea, but sounds expensive. Also, older kids like 2 and up, get attached to toys and may have trouble giving them back. And if they get mixed in with your other toys they could get lost or broken, and then you would probably have to pay to have them replaced.

That looks like a great idea for you since you're not having more kids

If your kid breaks a toy or loses a piece then yeah you pay for the toy at a discounted price supposedly....

I guess I'd worry about hygiene. They probably have some fool-proof disinfecting method, but I'd still worry. I'm neurotic like that.

That looks like a neat idea, but I know my older two have particular toys they are very attached to and play with frequently. They both have their own Ikea trofast systems for toy storage and we also box up a lot of the toys (especially for the 5 yr old) and rotate toys in and out. BUT you would be amazed that DD2 will recall a dinosaur that she got 5 friggen months ago, and decide to hunt it down and play with it. She knows exactly how many dinosaurs she has, what species they all are, and colors. Insane. DS1 is like that with all his Star Wars crap.
