I'm rarely on here, so if this has been discussed already, my apologies. Zayd has suddenly begun putting up one heck of a fight when I try putting him to sleep, moreso for bedtime than naps. He's driving me bonkers. And he started napping for 2-3 hrs but before I could celebrate, he went right back down to 1 hr naps. What gives?
And after quite a bit of research, I've decided against the CIO method, & would also appreciate additional input from those who have used alternative methods.

Same here, add hourly wakings throughout the night and we are in the same boat. I was reading that this is normal due to neurological changes and it should pass. I hope so.

Yep Caleb will fight sleep with every ounce of energy he has. He hits his bottle, bounces his legs, does a strong arm and even cries when we sit down in his rocking chair. Afraid he may miss something.
Riley slept through the night until 4 months, but ever since then he wakes up two or three times. Lately he hasn't been fully waking up, but he rolls around the bed whining/wimpering which is pretty much the same as waking up for me since he sleeps in our bed. I can't wait for the day he sleeps all the way through the night! We're not planning on doing any type of sleep training, I'm just dealing with it as it comes.
We definitely get more protesting at bedtime these days. I try to take extra time to soothe Hunter before putting him down, but we do the let-cry bedtime, so crying does happen. 20 minutes is the most he's cried, though, and I do go check on him if the crying seems harder than a typical protest cry.
