I'll be there, gotta figure out cars....my Land Rover keeled over and it's going to take a while to get parts and get them installed. I have a loaner from the dealership, but don't want to really drive it far off!

It will be me, SO and little dude. DS1 was coming, but his dad is being deployed and is coming in town that weekend and Abbi is already off visiting dad.

Do we need a list of things for people to bring?

Oh and I am excited about the gluten free angel food cake, since I am new to the gluten free business.

I have never heard it called a Texas Sheet Cake, but I can make a mean chocolate cake. My great, great grandmother taught me a secret ingredient for all things chocolate that makes it so much better.

A Texan co-worker calls it Buttermilk Cake, i think? the frosting has like a pound of powdered sugar. It's almost like a brownie. When you make the fosting, you pour it on warm and let it cool on the cake. it's SO freaking good! Darnnit. now I want some...

How about late afternoon. And then we can do dinner, maybe if you arent tired of me??? 4 or so would give us out of towers time to check in, and get to the pool. What do you guys think?

Also, I'm booking a place tonight. I'll let you know where, in case we happen to stay together. Can't wait. 7 more days. 7 more days. 7 more days, hey hey hey hey.

I do have a great recipe for buttermilk cake. Yummy. Now I can't decide buttermilk cake or strawberry shortcake - you guys pick!

As far as mi Cocina - we could order mixed fajitas rice and beans with sides of guac, chips and salsa. Just as for corn and flour tortillas wrapped separate. I am fairly certain they have -cater menu

I know we won't do adult beverages at pool, but what about afterwards-is flower mound dry?

Kat

I so wish I could join you gals! Dallas is only 6 hours away. I'm not sure I could convince DH that we need to drive all that way to meet folks from online, though. He doesn't know how cool y'all are.
