Hey Girls!

The boys and I are visiting DH in Pennsylvania for a few days and plan on taking advantage of the upcoming All-Star break (two whole days together? yes please!). We're looking for something fun to do in the area and are thinking about going to the aquarium in Baltimore tomorrow. Have any of you ever been? I'm just wondering if it's worth the two hour drive down there...

If any of you live in or visit that area, do you have any other suggestions of things to do? Places to eat?

DH and I went to Washington DC about 5 or 6 years ago now and on our way back to Ohio we made a pit stop in Baltimore for a day. We went to the aquarium and I really enjoyed it. I think it's worth a day trip to go see. We also did a tour of the Oriole's stadium while we were there.

As far as food goes, we had lunch at Hooters, so I don't really have any dining suggestions, lol. Hooter's are everywhere.

The aquarium is totally worth a visit! There's also a science center which is pretty neat, and the harbor itself is awesome. There are tons of places to eat in the harbor, hard rock cafe would probably be my best suggestion but any local seafood restaurants are good too (if you like seafood that is).

When you're done at the aquarium you can drive 20 minutes south and come visit me lol

Also in the Gallery thats right on the water there is a fudge place and the people sing while they're making fudge Welcome to The Fudgery Plus there are tons of places to eat and shop in there.

The Baltimore Zoo is awesome, but since it's going to be 110 degrees today I probably wouldn't recommend it. Theres that Visionary Art Museum and the Walters Art Museum. Fells Point and Canton are both nice areas to walk through. You can see Camden Yards and Ravens Stadium. The National Cryptologic Museum is neat.

A good place for food is Little Italy, lots of yummy stuff!

I'd check out trip advisor and go through their list of things to do in Baltimore and I'm sure you'll find something! Just be careful because you can go from a nice area to the true ghetto in one turn.

We visited the Baltimore Aquarium while I lived in DC. It was super cool. Definitely go check it out.

I live near Baltimore, too, so you could come visit me, lol

I would also recommend the Aquarium. It's really good, Maddie LOVES it....

The Zoo is ok, but I would say don't do it.... we have a membership, but it's not nearly what it was when I was younger (not as many animals and things)... plus it will be hot, so that wouldn't be fun

And I am just pretty forgetful, what does your DH do??

Thanks for the information, girls! We ended up spending the day at the aquarium and walking around the harbor -- it was a beautiful day and we had a wonderful time!
