This morning I took Jax up to his room to change his diaper and get him dressed for the day. He had a poopy diaper so I changed him. Then I put him in his crib so I could toss the diaper in the trash outside and grab some things from downstairs.
I forgot the diaper. It was sitting on the edge of the crib.
When I came back upstairs it smelled like poop. Jax was covered. So was his crib. He had it all over his face, I think he was eating it  I hope he doesn't get sick.
I have spent the past hour+ cleaning up poop. At least I got the crib lowered while I was at it 
I took pictures. I will post them once i get them uploaded.

Well the pics don't quite do it justice but I will post them anyway. Unfortunately I threw the bumpers into the washer with the rest of the bedding and they are now ruined  I didn't take any pics of Jax, I just wanted to hurry up and get to poop off his face asap

Oh eww! My friend's kiddo was down for a nap, pooped, pulled his dipe off, smeared it around and then smacked it on to the wall. I am pretty sure I would have been close to vomit! It's one thing to rinse out a cloth diaper, another to have to clean it off other stuff!

haha, YUCK! I only laugh because Olivia had a massive poop explosion in her car seat when she was a babe. We found her with poop on her hands that ended up in her mouth (she was asleep). Seeing her in that situation was very traumatizing for DH and I. lol. So I know how you feel!
BTW, she didn't sick from ingesting her poop.

Yikes! Sorry you had to clean up the poopsplosion I guess you will never, ever leave a dirty diaper around again! I am going to learn from you because I am bad about it!

Yellkkk. I've heard horror stories of people having to duct tape diapers on babies because they learn to take them off themselves. So not ready for this.

Oh ack!! I always keep a onsie on Christian, especially if he is wearing an aplix diaper, he can get those suckers off! I have almost all snaps, and it's too hard for him to undo them.
Sorry your bumpers were ruined when you washed them.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry for you!! the eating it thing is icky but it has happened here too. The day before M&C 2nd birthday. They still shared a room & were in toddler beds "napping". Well after hearing a lot of commotion I walked in to find poop on the wall, their beds, ground in the carpet, all over them & between their toes. I was 6 months pregnant & it was freaking gross!!! Oh the stories you'll have

Cheyenne has learned how to takes her diaper off now, Few night ago i had woken up before she did so of course like i always do i check on her and notice her diaper was off everything was all poop but her..

Ewwwwww! LOL poor Jax & Mommy! i freak out when she sometimes kicks her heal into a poopie diaper... i get her leg so quickly before that foot goes near a hand and mouth and wipe it up ASAP! can't imagine finding Victoria like that i'd be FREAKING!!! but i'm sure later on it will be a funny story  hehehe
Victoria though one time as a newborn had an explosive poop in her pack'nplay all up the back! yuck...
