Do you have any scars? How'd you get them?

Oh man, too many to count! One on my right thumb from having a wart cut out. One on my right ring finger that I've had since I was a toddler that looks like a gouge mark, no idea how I got that one. Several on my Leg, elbow, ankle - falling off bike/roller blades/general clumsiness. One on the top of my big toe from when I was being pushed on a tire swing by my uncle and my foot fell out of the tire and dragged on the ground. I was only 4 when that one happened and I was so proud that I didn't cry... until mom came at me with the peroxide.

I have a BUNCH!! Chris teases me that I don't really have many organs left to hack on! I have pin hole ones on my left knee from surgery, several on my abdomen from having my gall bladder , my appendix, and part of my liver removed, one from having a port for radiation and chemo, a 2 1/2 foot one that goes from right above my right shoulder blade and wraps around to the front from back surgery, one on my hip where they took bone for my spine. Oh and one under my chin from jumping on my bed when I was little, fell and nailed the hardwoods and had stitches. I think that's it. Kinda sad I don't have very many from just being a kid!

I have a cresent shaped scar on my right ring finger from when I was little and closed the drawer under the oven on my finger & got stitches. I also have a bunch on my knees from tryin to keep up with my older cousins when I was younger & the only girl out of 9 cousins all born within 5 years

Both my knees have scars from when I was a kid and flipped on my tricycle, a few of my fingers on my right hand have them from a rock climbing accident and I have one on my stomach from a hear monitor sticky gone wrong.

I have one down my shin from when I ran full speed into a barbed wire fence after eating mushrooms. I have another one on my wrist, a drunk friend carrying a knife fell on me. seriously I was pissed but it was pretty amusing.

Left hand from accidentally cutting myself when I was 8...trying to cut a bite size amount of chocolate. Left foot from falling off a motor scooter around 10 and got my foot caught in the spokes.

Surgical scar on my clavicle and neck from placing a medical machine...yeah, I'm bionic.

oops, I meant shin, and I thought I would add I didn't do it on purpose, it was dark outside and I forgot the fence was there. Oh the stories I could tell from high school...

Lots of scars...

In addition to my c-section scar, I have:

- Puncture scar on my left hand between my thumb and index finger. I was probably 10 years old and was out in my Dad's machine shed punching holes in pop cans with an awl. I missed the can and instead punctured my hand.

- Three vertical scars on my left wrist. I was probably 8 or 9 and was riding in the backseat of my parents' Bronco II. The front passenger seat rather than just folding forward actually "ejects" forward leaving the metal unprotected down below. Well, I was going with my Mom to her hair dresser and when we got there I was leaning against the back of the passenger seat when she flipped it up to let me out. I fell forward and impaled my wrist on the metal on the bottom of the seat. I remember that it bled *a lot*. I think my Mom still got her hair cut and the gal who ran the shop just put a bunch of cotton balls on my wrist with a bandaid.

- Round scar on the back of my right achilles. Got this one, I think on my birthday when I was 9 or 10. I was walking out of the machine shed at our farm and my brother shut the door too quickly behind me and it sliced off a chunk of skin.

In hindsight the ages of 8-10 must have been somewhat traumatic :-)
