Will you be soccer mom? What kinds of activities would you like to see your kids involved in?

I definitely don't see myself being a "soccer mom" but I wouldn't mind if he played soccer since it's my favorite sport, and DF would love to see him play hockey

i think i will be! eventually once i have both kids i will work private and just work during the week and enjoy sports with the kiddo's on the weekend!

I would like her to try all the activities i have... figure skating, swimming, gymnastics, ballet, soccer, ringuette/ or hockey. i'm hoping she'll like at least one of these things to go far in!

I did swimming and soccer the longest! i swam and eventually became a lifeguard and did swim team. Soccer i played till i started nursing school. as for figure skating and gymnastics they were actually my favourite but i stopped figure skating because they wanted me do be competitive and my mom couldn't afford it.. and as for gymnastics i did 2 yrs competitive and after that my mom couldn't afford it. i kinda hope Victoria would like 1 or both activities to eventually practice competitive!
There a gymnastics club that has kinda gymboree activities with parents from 12months - 3 yrs old! after that they start actual gymnastics! i plan to sign her up when she turns 1! Figure skating only starts at 3yrs old.
I can't wait for her to play sports!

and well if the next kiddo is a boy Jonathan is hopping for him to try hockey of course, baseball (which i don't really care about), swimming & soccer!

I am def a soccer mom, but not in the same way you are asking. I am a mom that still plays soccer!

As for B, we will encourage him to play any sport he is interested in. It would surpass me if it is soccer, running or cycling since that is what he is exposed to the most.

I'm sure I'll be a "soccer mom" and I'll be the coolest one ever

I want Jax to at least try football, baseball and soccer and he can try anything that he would like.

If we ever have a girl I would like for her to at least try ballet and soccer

DH would like Nathan to play hockey - I'm going to secretly try to discourage it because it's so expensive!

He can try whichever activities he wants to. I'm hoping that he will like tennis, golf and curling as those are life long sports. We will also get him on the ski hill as soon as he's old enough!

We plan on letting him decide. But it would be awesome if he liked swimming and golf.

I want Viv to do anything she wants. But i also don't want her to be over scheduled with activities.

What I hope she will at least look into and attempt
- any sport, esp rowing (in high school).
- theatre - in any way - acting, designing, directing, stage managing, crew. whatever.
- music - either singing or playing an instrument. hopefully, both.

but we'll see!

Adelyn does gymnastics now and she likes it. I hope they get into softball, gymnastics, or volleyball. Cheer leading would be fine too, I'll probably sign Adelyn up for when she's 5 or so.

Now if we ever have a boy I'm sure DH will be on top of that lol. He really wants a boy to play football, baseball, and basketball with.

DH doesnt want them to play either and wants them to play basketball LOL because thats what he plays.. and poker if you wana consider that hahah

I will probably be a hockey mom. Skating lessons start at 3, Jack did it last year and loved it. Hockey starts at 5.

I also want him to play Tball in the summer, or soccer if he wants to. But I hate soccer so hopefully he likes Tball more.

I'll let Gabe do what he wants sports wise when he's older to choose but when he's young it's important to me that he at least has exposure to different things to help him figure out what he likes.

We live next to a HUGE soccer complex and DH and I love soccer... I lettered in HS and played intramurals in college so that would be great! I hope he doesnt like Baseball because to me it is like watching paint dry hee hee but of course we'd support him in whatever he chose.

I will be I am sure... minivan and all.....

I'm hoping both my kids play lacrosse, everyone in my family does/did, so that would be good....

Other then that they can play what they want. I won't discourage any sports really.... but I hope they don't choose softball or baseball because I think it's so boring to watch..... plus it's the same season as lacrosse.....

I don't think I'll be a 'soccer mom' but I'm definately going to keep Hayden in a bunch of activities... Everything my parents put me in I'll put her in plus a few more things so paino, violin and flute lessons... Gymnastics, ballet and cheerleading, some kind of arts program where she can be in plays... I'll find some kind of junior missionary group... Also I would of loved to take some kind of hip hop or jazz dance class so I'll put her in one pf those

We live on a farm, so Riley will be a farm kid. I'd also like him to take swimming lessons, because learning how to swim is essential in my book. Other than that, he can participate in whatever he wants!

I can't wait to be a complete soccer mom!! I've already got the mini van & half a team honestly I'd just like them to be involved & active in 2 things - at least 1 of them being a sport. and either another sport or something else (club or music or something).

I'd love to get the twins involves in something now, but most min age is 3 or 4
