I know many of you ladies are still BFing despite baby teeth. How's it work? What do you do when they bite?

Hunter's just cut his first tooth, and he's already chomped my hand with it. I'm afraid to put a nipple in there.

even with teeth while they feed they can't bite.. its when they wanna play with the nipple because their full, not hungry or bored! but try as suggested before to take him off and tell him no and that hurts mommy! Victoria has bit me but she would bite very softly to play both those bottom teeth are freaken sharp anyways! she doesn't bite often and hasn't in a long while (she got her 2 teeth at 5.5 months). and when she did i noticed it was really when she was full and was still near my boob!
Hopefully he won't bite!

Smashie, no advice here, just joining you in fear! Scarlett doesn't have teeth yet, but she loves to bite my face, my fingers, anything she can get her mouth on! No problem with that big, soft gummy mouth, but teeth are going to be a different story.

I was told to say no, and tap their mouth with your finger (not hard of course) and then try again. and keep repeating this until they learn. If they keep doing it just put them down for a while and try again.

The only time Jax has bit me is when he isn't hungry or done eating. Because of where their tongue has to be when they feed, they can't bite while feeding. I was terrified of feeding a baby with teeth and it's not really different at all.
