Sorry weve been mia.. in the process of moving into our first.house woohoo !!

Anyway.. i posted a few months ago about audreys head. She always seems to tilt it to the right. we brought her to doctors the first time and we though she fixrd it because it completely went away. Now all of a sudden its back with a vengance. She hasnt slept well since she started tilting again. Shes whinning alot more. It totally bums me out. We went back to her pedi yesterday and she cant figure out why she keeps going bck after being 100% fine. She tracks objects great her eyes arent fluttering. So she decided to.send us into boston to see a neurologist. We go.monday and although i know ita.probably nothing major im still.very nervous and scared ! Ugh and so tired !!!!! She was sleeping sooooooo good . Boo

Ill.keep u ladies posted just needed to vent it out

Riley has a head tilt, but he has torticollis and it doesn't sound like that's the case with Audrey. Poor kiddo. I hope they figure out what it is, and that it's a simple fix. Keep us posted!

I had it as a child. I'm not sure if my scoliosis caused it or not but I have it pretty bad. Have they checked her back? You can also use your fingers and follow her back bones all the way up. My curved part of my spine is at the mid and bottom, and thats the most common of places so be sure to check it.

Its caused alot of neck problems for me right now and I get constant headaches due to it making my head still leaning towards the right just a bit (no one really notices) and since its like that it pinches off the blood flow and pinches the nerves.

Poor thing, make sure they check her back again though and if you feel like your not getting the results, you should seek a diff doc.

That would be so stressful, I hope you get some positive answers from the neurologist.

Hugs, momma. It's rotten not having answers! Hopefully the visit with the neurologist gives you peace of mind.

The ladies above have floated some ideas and I'll float one more. I know your pedi checked her eyes, but it might be worth seeing a specialist for that too. My 1-yr-old nephew has an eye condition that causes him to see double. He tilts his head because it makes the double vision go away. His condition will require surgery, but the opthamologist told my sister that it's a very routine surgery and not uncommon.

KUP!

Thanks everyone for all the support.

So today washer appointment, i left work early so that i could make it in time. good thing lol. My gps totally took us the wrong way and somehow i missed all the boston rush hour traffic because of it. The doctors checked her out and are pretty sure she has migranes ( the run in the family aparently, i get them realllly bad. ) He said that when the migranes come on it causes her to tilt her head because it messes with her vision aparently ? He wants us to go in for a recheck the next time she starts tilting again . (she stopped yesterday after being tilted for a week and a half .. go figure! )

Then he says i have a somewhat odd question to ask you. Do you mind if the tuffs photo people come in and take pictures of me examining her ? I said no way, go for it! We signed a waiver gave them out emails and soon audrey will be on the cover of a medical magazine or journal. How exciting lol. All the stress of getting there payed off i suppose!

Ill keep you guys posted on how shes doing. Also ill post some pics of our new house! Its so nice to have our room back and for audrey to have her own!! yay!!

After aloy of googling i fou.d this Benign paroxysmal torticollis

It seems to be all of audreys symptoms..head tilt vommitting. If it is thia benign paroxysmal torticollis , it seema kods just grow out of it ( the head tilting etc) but migranes will persist when shes older
