I know some of you ladies deal with it too. I remember seeing some post about it a while back. Its starting to drive me crazy. I can't get in the car to go anywhere with that feeling in the pit of my stomach. Jaden will be fine as i put him in and buckle him up. But as soon as i hit the main road he cries and cries non stop untill we reach the destination. He cries on the way home as well. Nothing i do helps. I give him toys in his seat. He sucks on his bottle for a little bit sometimes. The only thing that helps is he gets soo exhausted he finally passes out. I remember seth went through this but i dont know how i got through it to be honest. I was just hoping some of you ladies had some tips or advice. My mom told me give him a biter biscuit or something. Yeah as if i want to have an ant infestation in my car. So thats out. I dont even let my older son eat in the car.

Riley doesn't like the car either. The only thing that will keep him from crying is if I make animals noises...bark like a dog, meow like a cat, quack like a duck, etc. After a few minutes I stop and if he's quiet he's asleep and I can stop, but if he starts crying again, I get back to barking. lol It's so silly, but it's better than listening to him scream.

Since day one, Sully has hated the car seat. But I had to drive cross country and back this summer. On the way out...I thought I was going to have a nervous break down. But while we were back east my mom gave me her portable DVD player and we bought a thing that holds it onto the headrest. Let's just say that Elmo is my new best friend. It's amazing. I never wanted to have my kid dependent on technology, but I really don't care now. It works and everyone is happy!
