Just curious what you guys do if anything. I think I will gift the UPS man this year because he always talks to me and the baby and we have gotten a ton of stuff this year from Amazon Mom plus he has been our same delivery guy for years now. I used to give a small gift to my mail woman and I loved her...she was our regular for years but now she works in the post office instead of doing a route so we have a bunch of randoms so I will skip that this year.

We do the mail woman, newspaper delivery person (no clue who they are because they do it at 5am), the toll guy/girl if it's been the same one all year - I know that's kind've weird BUT it's always the same old guy and he's really really really awesome, preschool teachers and hairdresser/barber.

We don't really do this. The only people we have "regulars" are the preschool/daycare people. When I had T in an in-home daycare I did a little something at xmas. I wont and haven't done anything for the school. My hairdresser I tip 20% every time I see her and she's a personal friend....so...I don't feel the need to do more because it is a holiday. We don't get a paper, don't have a regular mail person.

We just gift our mailman (he's married to one of my BFF's and he's been our mailman for years) and our daycare lady. We don't see our UPS guy because we're at work all day, so we don't do anything for him. Last year we got both of them gift cards. We gave $20 to our mailman (like I said we know him really well) and a $100 one for our daycare because she has always helped us out more than our own families. She even kept Olivia for a couple nights after the twins were born so Jason and we could stay with them in the Level II NICU. She did the same when the twins were in the hospital with RSV in March. She has helped us out more than my IL's so she deserves a good gift.

I would say go for it if you see him regularly. I am sure he would appreciate it. Maybe a subway/fast food card?

Gosh good question... we have random mail people- and random everything else. First year dealing with daycare and there are 4 ladies always that have been there forever- so not sure best way to handle that?

I've always tipped my horse's groom but the regular guy left and we have rotated through a few grooms since then and now that i ride pretty much exclusively in the evening I tack and untack him myself so I have no idea what to do this year...

I just gift my hairdresser $25 (plus I usually tack a $5 tip onto any haircut she gives me). Otherwise, we don't have "regulars."
