So we are pretty sure audrey has migraines. I think the correct term (excuse the spelling) is benign peroxmal tortiocollis. Her head stopped tilting last week and just started again yesterday and tonight we had another projectile vommitting episode. ugh my poor baby. i guess ill call the neurologist we went to and let him know the deal ... but i was curious if any of you know anyone who has dealt with this with theyre kids or anyone they know..

thanks ladies

Poor little girl. I don't know anyone who has had migraines as a child. DH gets them and he throws up and then sleeps and then they go away. Maybe you can figure out what triggers them and then prevent them.

I am so sorry, I have never heard of this with babies before. I did have migraines when I was very young though, so maybe they started as a baby, I dunno. I was about 5, and all I remember was not being able to explain to my mom and the doctors the pain very well. It took them quite awhile to figure out that I was having migraines. I had to get on daily preventive medicine which back in the 80's was who know's what. I have struggled with them off and on my whole life. I am so sad that your poor sweet baby has to go through this pain. I hope that they can do something to help her or that someone else has some experience with this and you can get some answers. HUGS!

Poor baby! I get migraines. I think I got my first one when I was about 12 or 13. I can't imagine having one as a baby. Have you tried a cool compress on her head? That brings me some relief when I get one.
BTW - love her hair!

Poor baby, I hope you are able to find something that helps her.

I had migraines when I was super young too. I remember getting one during a pool party and trying to ignore it since I was having too much fun. I ended up throwing up in the pool. I also remember getting taken to the ER to get shots for them. Luckily I no longer really suffer from them.
