OK, just to keep everyone happy! What's your baby up to these days?

Bourne calls Chris Da, me MamaMA and the cat I-ee and everything else is babababa yayaya grrrrrrr

He is cruising like a champ and is attempting to let go and walk. Not ready for that one.

He hates purees and spits babyfood back out, so he now eats what we eat, shredded up into small Bourne size pieces.

What is your baby doing these days?

Jake is cruizing and attempting to let go, too. I think he may beat his sister to walking (which she did at about 10 months)

He still babbles a TON, but no "words" yet

He also has started signing for milk, which I love, it's so cute!

Darcy is cruising also, but hasn't tried to go off on her own yet. She calls everything dada.

K is pulling herself up on everything (even to daddy's leg hairs, she grips on and pulls herself up to him, he screams....i laugh, lol). She cruises along the furniture but hasn't made any attempts to take steps on her own yet.

She does does say dadada and mamama, along with lots of babbling.

She is into everything!!

Cruising? Wow, we don't even have crawling yet. Daycare described Scarlett as "cautious." She likes to check things out before diving in. I bet she'll be a later walker for that reason.

Lots of sitting, lots of babbling. Everything is dada or blahblah or the screaming baby pterodactyl noise. She's definitely getting attached to me in a more obvious way. She cried when I left daycare this morning, but they say she's usually really happy during the day.

Loves to eat, loves baths, love snuggling and kisses.

The Kid isn't crawling yet but I think we may see it happen soon. Recently she has been propping up on all fours and rocking. She eats purees and no sign of teeth in sight yet. I think she will always be trailing behind compared to some of the prodigies we have in this group, lol! She's just too laid back for her own good.

Dr. BigGrin, I think the Kid and Scarlett would get along well. No teeth and happy to just chill and observe the action!

Viv is great! She's rolling and back/butt scootin' like it's her job. Gets on her knees every once in a while, but not a lot, so no crawling or cruising.

She screams really really well. I've heard Dada and Mama here and there, but she's mostly a babbler and screamer.

We have 4 teeth and 2 more that the gum is swollen.

She's a perfect, happy bebe!

Maddie has perfected the army crawl and has become quite the bruiser. She smacks everything she can get her hands on over. Examples: She'll crawl over to a toy, smack it a couple of times, pick it up and bash it on the floor. Or she'll hit her sisters, me, dad, anything. She has also perfected the bottle snatch and steals bottles away from Malia if she doesn't have one for herself. She has also become so talkative. There are lots of "babas, rah rahs, mamas, dadas, roo roos" coming out of her mouth these days.

Malia has finally figured out how to get where she wants to go by "worming". She picks up her little butt and pushes herself with her legs. She looks so funny doing it! She is my sensitive baby, and has really bad stranger anxiety right now. Even seeing parents of the other kids in our daycare make her cry. So she is still our diva. She babbles, but not as much as her sister but she is the more "busy" out of the two. She has a hard time staying focused to even finish a bottle these days because of that.

They still mostly eat purees because they haven't figured out how to chew and swallow regular food without gagging.

knox is cruising & starting to let go & stand for 5-10 seconds at a time (although he hasn't tried to take a step without holding on yet).

he babbles a bit, but mostly mmmmaamaa, babababababa, growling, and clicking his tongue

1 tooth so far

he's a crazy guy - into everything. hates being contained (play pen, exersaucer, walker, etc). doesn't let anything get in his way, if he wants it then he is going for it and will climb over whatever he needs to - like the dog or me or anyone!

i think he's gonna give me some trouble when he gets older.....

Chloe is army crawling quite proficiently now. She sometimes gets up on her knees but then doesn't quite know what to do from there. She also tries to pull up to stand, but hasn't quite figured out how to do it yet.

She babbles ALL THE TIME, full of smiles, just an all around happy baby girl.

She's got 2 bottom teeth, still eats purees. Though she's getting quite good at picking up puffs and eating them.

So Jaxon thought he could walk the other day. He let go of the couch, put both of his arms out (letting go of the couch altogether) and hit the floor. He didn't cry either. He looked around and started crawling. I just laughed because he THOUGHT he was going to walk! HAHAHA.
(btw he didn't get hurt)
He can walk around holding onto stuff.. no matter where he is if he sees something, he's going to grab it and stand up.

He has 8 teeth.

Oh like when he's crawling and wants to stop to sit up, he can do that now too.

Some days I feed him and some days I don't. Because those days he don't eat is when he turns his head when I try to feed him.

He's been making t sounds for awhile now and I swear he said "gee gee" the other day. My friend on the phone is the one who heard it and brought it up.

Evan army crawls everywhere and is trying to pull up. He rarely eats baby food even though he only has 2 teeth. He is saying mum and dah-dee now.

No crawling here yet, but Riley is GREAT at moving backwards on his tummy. Too bad that just makes him mad, because he ends up further away from his toys. Hopefully he figures it out soon! He pulls himself up on the coffee table, but sometimes forgets to hang on once he's up there.

He has two bottom teeth, and the top two are on their way.

He also has his first ear infection. Yikes!

Sullivan is cruising like a wild man and using his pusher walker thing all day long. He lets go and stands for a few seconds and thinks about taking a step, but then must squats down and sits He walks holding just one of my hands now, too. He waves bye-bye, does "sooo big", and dances. I THINK he said "cat" while pointing to the cat the other day, but he only did it once and hasn't since, so it may have been a fluke. Oh, and he can go up stairs, which i just found out last night at a friend's house. We don't have steps, so he'd never tried, but he flew up them (with mommy right behind)

Derek is cruising around, pulling himself up, and just generally getting into trouble. His new favorite "toy" is the dog bones, so our poor puppies keep getting their bones stolen from them! He just started saying Mama today, but he always looks at DH when saying it! grr... He eats like crazy, the only thing he doesn't like is green beans.

Crawling, cruising & letting go then either falling on his but or he'll slowly sit down. He eats his baby purees, I'm too scared to give him chunks of real food yet. He "talks" ALL the time! He babbles dadada, bababa, yayaya and he as well has started calling me mama when he wants me and calling DH dada. I also hear him say doodoo sometimes. He has 2 teeth now (ouch). He's a regular growler and gets into everything he can get to. He's a busy little man

Holy ****! Harlow is still rolling with the two that popped out at 5 months.

She is not crawling. Only rolling, turning on a dime and going backwards. That combo pretty much gets he where she needs to go. Why learn to crawl?

She eats everything we've ever given her. And cries when it's gone. She's learned to sign eat and we are working on bye-bye.

Jax is crawling, pulling himself up on things and starting to cruise. He eats anything that we give him which includes purees and cut/torn up big people food. He says dada, baba, and all sorts of other babbling but he has only said mama once. little stinker.
