So, I feel like a crazy person. I got Mirena put in yesterday.... had a bad reaction, my bp dropped low, I got dizzy, almost crashed my car (pulled over before I blacked out). Well, I had some cramps, but they got better. Now I just hurt, like a pinching hurt. Plus, I have been really anxious, which I know is all mental, about this thing being in me. So bad I didn't sleep last night because I kept having nightmares. (Figures that would happen the one night since he was born that Jake only woke up once)....

Well, I called my OB this morning, and they said I can get it out, no problem. So I am going in tomorrow. My sister will be driving me incase I have another reaction.

So, we're pretty sure we are done having kids, DH is going to get the big "V", but we agreed to wait til Jake is a year. That way we can be 100% sure....

I'm sorry you had such a reaction. I had to have a biospy of my cervix done a few years back and this sounds alot like the aftermath of that. It's pretty scary and uncomfortable. I hope that you feel better soon!

That sucks. My doctor told me to give a month and then make a decision about keeping it or getting it removed. luckily I did not have any reaction to it.

It sounds like you've already made up your mind but I'd honestly try to wait it out for a little bit. The first few days can be rough but after that it's smooth sailing. Whatever you choose, I hope you start feeling better!

I had the same issues. But I had a D&C done then had merena put in. after the miscarriages Ive had I dont think I want anymore. I thought the effects after were from the meds from the D&C but I'm not sure
