I'm not sure. I work casual right now, so I could always start working a point position again some day. I'm thinking that I'll get more involved with the farm as time goes on though, so I might just stay casual forever. Who knows what life will bring our way though!

I will be a SAHM unit 9/26 then I go back to school full time until I graduate in 5 years and get a job as a nurse. So my days as a SAHM are numbered

I'm not to sure. I would like to stay home for as long as possible, so I am looking into virtual assistant positions, so I can work from home.

Right now I work part time (about one day a week). I will most likely work more than that once all of our kids are in school but not full time.

I want to stay part time (I'm doing about 10 hours/week now) until Harlow goes to a regular preschool or kindergarten. Then, I'd love to work "school" hours again. We will see if we can get by with that set up.

The plan right now is for me to stay home until Brendan starts school full time. Things that may affect this are having another baby, a few major purchases, and if the right job comes along to entice me earlier.

My mat leave is up at the end of November but I told my office that the earliest I would come back is January 2nd. However, I would like to delay my return to work until at least next fall. I just hope that we will be able to make that work financially.

Probably until my youngest is able to come home from school on his/her own. So probably for at least another 14ish years.

I plan on staying home until our kids are out of the house... we want to home-school our children, so it all depends on how well that goes and if they decide they want to try high school. After that I plan on going back to school... possibly for psychology to be a counselor.

I can't wait to go back to work full time. DH and I agreed that I will be a SAHM until the kids are in elementary school, so if we have another baby like he wants I will be here for AT LEAST six more years, yikes! I work one day each week now (Sunday evenings) and that is the only regular adult interaction I get and I would so do it for free. DH understands he has to let me have that one day or one of us will be missing body parts for reals!!!!

We'll revaluate once he starts school. However, I'm also leaning towards being home some around the teenage years. It's seems as though lots of bad decisions are made around that time and I feel it is important to be very very active in his life to ward off some of those.

I've been home since April and I'm starting to go stir crazy. Maybe it's just this ****hole town I live in, but it's starting to get to me.
I've been seriously considering going back to work very soon.....at least part-time.

how do you ladies do it? does DH have a kick-*** paying job? i'd love to stay home or work PT, but financially, it's not possible. if someone gave DH a great job that earned him 20-30K more than he makes now, then maybe we could...

Right now I stay at home part time... It works out great, I work mornings and afternoons. As long as I can I'll continue with what we are doing now. I really enjoy my schedule.

We live in Eastern WA, so cost of living is less... he doesn't make a fortune, but we live comfortably. I think it all depends on where you live. It's easy to make ends meet in this area.

I am banished to not work by my nephrologist. I was pulling a surgery here and there over night, but my kidneys misbehave so I am grounded for a while. I prefer to be home till preschool, and like Whit being very accessible during teens years is important. My oldest turns 13 in March so I guess this is all perfect timing.
