Is there anything you've discovered about caring for your baby/keeping him/her occupied that you want to share?

Owen thrashes like an octopus when he has really poopy diapers. To keep him relatively still, I give him a "special" toy/interesting household object to hold while I change him.

My good idea was to stash a basket of these things under the changing table so that I can cycle through a few of them while changing. I don't let him handle these things except during changing time so they will keep their appeal and this way I'm not frantically grabbing for a distraction as we head to his room for a change.

Sometimes Nathan is an angel when getting his diaper changed, other times not so much. Sometimes a toy will distract him, sometimes I have to sacrifice my glasses or something to keep him occupied long enough to get the new one on.

I do still end up giving him my phone a lot.

I give stella a puff to eat while im changing her. its my way of bribing her lol

I give him a toy. If somebody else is around, I have them hold him still.
